Railway Board Approves Immediate Absorption of IRSE Officer Baldev Singh at RVNL
New Delhi: The Railway Board under the Ministry of Railways has approved the immediate absorption of Shri Baldev Singh, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), as Executive Director (Civil) at Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL).
According to an official order issued from Rail Bhavan on February 26, 2026, Baldev Singh (DOB: August 12, 1969), currently serving as CPM/SGU/DNR at MHX/Patna under East Central Railway, has been appointed on an immediate absorption basis at RVNL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi.
Technical Resignation Accepted
The competent authority has also accepted his technical resignation from Railway Service, which will take effect from the date he formally joins RVNL as Executive Director (Civil). The resignation will be officially notified upon confirmation of his joining date.
The order directs that the officer must join RVNL within 15 days from the date of issuance of the letter, in accordance with applicable government rules. In case he does not assume charge within the stipulated period, he has been instructed to report back to the Railway Board.
Official Communication
The directive has been communicated to the General Manager (Personnel), East Central Railway, Hajipur, along with other senior officials of the Railway Board and RVNL management for necessary action.
