SJVN announces the appointment of Shri Pulak Kumar Mukhopadhyay as Executive Director (Mech) on 14.10.2025. With over 32 years of experience in the Thermal Power Industry, Mukhopadhyay previously served as CGM & HoD, Commissioning and has expertise in Nuclear Vessels and trouble shooting.
New Delhi: Shri Pulak Kumar Mukhopadhyay assumed the charge as Executive Director (Mech) in SJVN on 14.10.2025. Earlier Shri Pulak Kumar Mukhopadhyay was CGM & HoD, Commissioning. Shri Mukhopadhyay joined SJVN Limited on 04.12.2020 with an experience of 32 years covering all facets of Thermal Power Industry which include ACC Babcock Limited, WBPDCL and BHEL.
Designed Nuclear Vessels and Trained at FUJI Japan, he has an outstanding adept in trouble shooting and NDT. Over his next 5 years of service in SJVN Limited, he has contributed to various functions viz. Erection & Commissioning of Buxar Thermal Power Plant including IT and C&SO.
