Shri Shailendra Kumar Deputed to NCRTC as GGM/CPM (Civil)

New Delhi, February 13, 2026: The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Shri Shailendra Kumar, IRSE, currently serving as Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer/Engineering on Northern Railway, to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).

Shri Kumar, born on April 15, 1978, and an IRSE officer since December 13, 2007, has been selected for the post of General General Manager/Chief Project Manager (Civil) at NCRTC. The deputation is for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, on usual terms of parent pay plus deputation allowance.

The appointment comes after the recommendation from Northern Railway and the concurrence of the Railway Board. Shri Kumar will be relieved by Northern Railway to take up his new role, following standard procedures for deputation.

Copies of the notification have been circulated to senior officials including the Managing Director of NCRTC, key Railway Board members, and all relevant administrative and vigilance departments to ensure smooth coordination during the transition.

Shri Kumar’s deputation reflects NCRTC’s ongoing emphasis on strengthening civil engineering leadership to support large-scale urban transport projects in the National Capital Region.
