New Delhi, 16 March 2026: The Government of India, through the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions and the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), has entrusted Shri Vinod Kumar Tripathi, IRSE (Civil) 1995, currently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel, with the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Delhi.

The assignment is approved for a period of one year from the date of assumption of charge or until a regular CVO is appointed in SAIL, whichever occurs earlier.
