Hyderabad: COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of millions, as also the economy. While the city of Hyderabad is in the forefront of the battle against COVID-19 with development of vaccine, it is important that all possible precautionary measures to minimize the spreading of Corona virus be taken. In this endeavour, ECIL has developed an innovative indigenous solution based on Thermal Camera for entry point screening.
 
Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) today i.e. on 24.11.2020 handed over the “Healthcare Equipment - “Thermal Scanners” to Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Industries & Commerce, Information Technology, Electronics & communications, Government of Telangana under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative which will be used for Entry Point Screening of Personnel to combat the spread of COVID.
 
These items will be installed at the Secretariat Office, BRKR Bhavan, Office of Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, Office of Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad, and Telugu Samkshema Bhawan visited by a large number of people.
 
ECIL officials Shri Anirudh Prasad Singh, Director (Finance), Shri Samir Mukherjee, Director (Personnel), Shri Anurag Kumar, Executive Director (Security), Shri Asifulla Baig, Head (P&A) and Shri Santhaiah, SDGM (Security) participated in this event.
