IOCL Signed MoU with ALIMCO
Chennai: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Sothern Region Pipelines) and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India have signed MoU on 4th July 2018 at Chennai valuing Rs. 64 Lakhs for Distribution of Aids and Assistive Devices to Divyangjan at Madurai and Vellupuram district under the CSR initiative of IOCL in the presence of Shri Venkatramanan General manager, HR, Shri P Ramkishore, DGM CSR from IOCL & Shri Anupam Prakash, Manager and Unit Head ALIMCO Bangalore, Shri A Sivakumar, A.M. Marketing and Smt. Puja Guleria, CSR Consultant from ALIMCO and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present during the signing of MoUs.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, SRP committed financial assistance under CSR initiative to Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) for the project, distribution of Aids & Assistive devices to approx 650-700 numbers of Divyangjans.
The main objective of the project is the distribution of aids and assistive devices to the persons with disabilities (PWDs), aimed at empowering this section of society to restore their confidence and bring them up to a reasonable level.
