WCL creates a new Covid facility for the better treatment of patients
The hospital has created two dedicated COVID wards with five beds each with central oxygen supply system with an oxygen capacity of 34000 litres.
Ballarpur: Western Coalfields Ltd. has spruced up its Area Hospital located at Sasti in Ballarpur area to enable screening and treatment of COVID patients. Located 25 kms from Chandrapur District Headquarters, the hospital has created two dedicated COVID wards with five beds each with central oxygen supply system with an oxygen capacity of 34000 litres. Donning and doffing rooms have been created for safety of the medical team treating the COVID patients.
A 165 KVA automatic, silent and eco-friendly generator has been acquired to provide uninterrupted power supply to the hospital. A bio-medical waste-room has also been created in a secluded place to store the biomedical waste and later sent for Bio Medical waste management.
The Doctors and paramedical staff at the hospital have been trained in treatment, safety, precautions and related protocols of the COVID ward and the treatment of COVID patients
