NTPC's Proud moment: Anwesha makes her way to Ju-jitsu India team for Asian Games 2023

New Delhi: Miss Anwesha Deb, daughter of Shri Goutam Deb, Executive Director, TTPS recently got featured in Sports Star and Khel Now. She has been selected to represent India as a part of the Ju-jitsu team (48 kg category) at the 19th Asian Games, scheduled to take place this year in Hangzhou, China.

Recently, Ms Anwesha won Gold at the 2023 National Championship (48 Kg Category) held in Madhya Pradesh. Earlier she won 3 International Championships under Gi format which includes winning Bronze twice in Sept’22 & Oct’22 at Abu Dhabi and 3rd time at Thailand in March’23.

In the NoGi format (International) she earned 3 medals – one bronze at Bangkok in 2023; one silver at Goa (2023) & one gold at Goa (2022). Moreover, she also won 2 gold medals at ADCC Nationals (50kg & Absolute Weight Division) at Delhi in 2020.

Ms. Anwesha keeps on setting commendable milestones and brimming as an inspiration for many.
