Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals updates on Power Supply from GIPCL

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd has announced an update about the commencement of supply of power from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited.

The exchange filing stated that letter dated 25th April, 2025 which shares an update about commissioning of 25 MW Phase - 1 out of 75 MW Vastan Group Captive solar project for supply of power from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) to the Company under Group Captive mode, on 50% sharing basis (i.e. 12.5 MW).

Further, it has been informed that remaining 50 MW Phase-2 out of 75 MW Vastan Group Captive Solar Project is successfully commissioned and the Company has started receiving solar power from today i.e, 26th June, 2025 on 50% sharing basis (25 MW).

Thus, the entire 75 MW Solar Power project is now fully operative and the same is currently under the stabilization phase. This will result in reduction of overall energy cost of the Company.
