Assam Governor inaugurated 'NRL Center of Excellence' at IIT Guwahati
The facility is the outcome of an industry-academia collaborative effort between Numaligarh Refinery Limited and IIT Guwahati.
Guwahati: The Hon'ble Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Katariya, inaugurated the NRL Center of Excellence for Sustainable Materials Translational Facility on Bioplastic at IIT Guwahati on 20th May 2023.
The facility is the outcome of an industry-academia collaborative effort between Numaligarh Refinery Limited and IIT Guwahati.

The establishment has the ability to manufacture a wide variety of items, including carry bags, toys, cutlery, decorative items, and small furniture, among others both from normal and biodegradable polymers
