Procurement during FY 21-22 was more than 9 times of FY 20-21 and in the first quarter of FY 22-23, it has crossed more than 235% as compared to quarter1 of FY 21-22.

New Delhi: BPCL, one of the leading oil and gas companies in India announced the procurement of goods worth more than Rs 1,384 Crores through Government e-Market Place (GeM), since its inception out of which more than 40% value was from MSE vendors. 

Procurement during FY 21-22 was more than 9 times of FY 20-21 and in first quarter of FY 22-23, it has crossed more than 235% as compared to quarter1 of FY 21-22. The company's totatl assets stands 1.88 lakh crores INR (US$25 billion as on 2022).

GeM is a completely paperless, cashless, transparent and system driven e-market place that enables procurement of common use goods and services with minimal human interface.
