CIL initiates a support 'Food for Life' in Delhi under CSR
CIL has undertaken a similar initiative in Kolkata, in association with ISKCON.

New Delhi: Coal India Ltd. is extending financial support of Rs. 18.75 lakhs for a social initiative “Food for Life”, to ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) in Delhi, who will cook wholesome food in their kitchens and distribute 5000 meals daily at Bijwasan, Palam, Dwarka, and Mehrauli for a period of 15 days.
CIL wants to ensure that the underprivileged and needy get healthy and nutritious vegetarian food in these turbulent COVID times, which has affected many livelihoods due to lockdown.
CIL has undertaken a similar initiative in Kolkata, in association with ISKCON.
