Constitution Day Celebrated at MIDHANI

New Delhi. On the occasion of Constitution Day - 2021, Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking of the Ministry of Defence, was organized a special lecture on "Constitution of India" under the chairmanship of Shri N. Gowri Sankara Rao, Director (Finance), on 26.11.2021.

 

The Chief Guest of the program was Shri Naumene Surparaj Karlapalem, Advocate, High Court of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, underlined the importance of the Indian Constitution to ensure good governance in India. He made everyone aware of the process of making the constitution of India, fundamental rights, duties etc. Also, while analyzing the constitutions of other countries comparatively with the constitution of India, discussed the main features of Indian constitution.

 

Director (Finance), MIDHANI, Shri N. Gowri Sankara Rao drew everyone's attention to the need to organize 'Constitution Day'. He urged all the employees to take out time and read the Constitution once.

 

It is noteworthy that publicity is also being done on the website of MIDHANI, reading of Preamble to the Constitution of India and online quiz competition based on 'Constitutional Democracy' through social media.

At the beginning of the program, Addl. Gen. Manager (I/c HR), Shri V Hari Krishna welcomed the guest speaker with a bouquet and Shri P. Sunil Kumar, Deputy Manager (HR & Admin.) read out the profile of  the chief guest. Sr. Officers and employees of MIDHANI were graced the occasion. On this occasion the employees read the Preamble of the Constitution. The program ended with the national anthem.
