DAE collaborates with NRDC to Propel Commercialization of Cutting-Edge Technologies

New Delhi: In a strategic alliance, the National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), an Enterprise under the Ministry of Science and Technology is partnering with the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), under the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), to accelerate the commercialization of technologies developed by DAE-associated organizations. Leveraging NRDC's established technology transfer process, this collaboration aims to introduce DAE's innovations to Industries in the country and abroad.

The collaboration involves NRDC identifying technologies developed within the civilian space by DAE institutions, offering these technological advancements to Industries for commercial exploitation. This partnership aligns with the broader objective of fostering innovation and driving economic growth through the application of cutting-edge technologies developed in the Atomic Energy sector.

The official Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) exchange was held on December 14, 2023, at the CSIR Science Center in New Delhi. Esteemed guests, including Dr N Kalaiselvi, Secretary, DSIR & DG, CSIR, Cmde Amit Rastogi (Retd.), CMD, NRDC; Smt Sushma Taishete, Joint Secretary-R&D, DAE; Shri Mahendra Kumar Gupta, Joint Secretary (Admin), CSIR; NRDC Board Directors - Dr. Deepti Bhardwaj and Shri Shekhar Mundada; Key Scientists from DAE institutions and Officials of NRDC participated in the ceremony. Key Scientists of DAE R&D Institutions made brief presentations and gave insights into the innovative spin-off technological developments in their organizations.
