Four IPS officers elevated to Special Director in IB
To formalize the promotion, the Additional Director posts held by four batchmates (1993) were temporarily upgraded to the Special Director rank for two years.
On Saturday, the Centre elevated (in-situ) four IPS officers from Additional Director rank to the rank of Special Director in the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

Officers elevated to Special Director (Level-16 in the pay matrix) are;
