RVNL Invites Applications for DGM and AGM/JGM/Sr DGM Posts in New Delhi; Check Eligibility and Details

New delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has invited applications from eligible officers for multiple senior-level positions on a deputation basis. The vacancies include one post of Deputy General Manager (Project Management Group) at the corporate office in New Delhi and one post of Additional General Manager/Joint General Manager/Senior Deputy General Manager (Civil) for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) project.

Both vacancy notifications were issued on June 18, 2026, and the tenure of deputation will be five years, subject to approval from the Government for exemption from the rule of immediate absorption.

DGM (Project Management Group) Vacancy at Corporate Office

RVNL has announced one vacancy for the post of Deputy General Manager (Project Management Group) at its corporate office in New Delhi under Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/33-CIVIL.

The post is open to officers from Civil, Electrical, Signal & Telecommunication (S&T), Mechanical and Operations departments.

Candidates should possess a B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline and preference will be given to those having experience in:

• Project planning and monitoring

• Infrastructure project implementation

• Rail, metro and urban transport projects

• Contract management and stakeholder coordination

• Project scheduling and milestone tracking

The maximum age limit is below 56 years.

Vacancy for AGM/JGM/Sr DGM (Civil) for DMRC Project

Under Vacancy Notice No. 2026/RVNL/32-CIVIL, RVNL has invited applications for one post of Additional General Manager, Joint General Manager or Senior Deputy General Manager (Civil) for the DMRC project in New Delhi.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in planning, execution and management of infrastructure projects, particularly metro rail, urban rail and MRTS projects in Metro Rail Corporations, PSUs and government organizations.

Eligible officers from the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) and Civil Engineering Department can apply.

Deputation Period and Application Process

The appointments will be made on a deputation basis for a period of five years. Candidates are required to apply through the proper channel using the prescribed format.

In addition, applicants must send a scanned copy of the duly filled and signed application form in PDF format to rvnl.deputation@rvnl.org as an advance copy.

Concerned controlling officers and zonal railways are required to forward applications of eligible candidates along with vigilance clearance, DAR clearance and APAR gradings for the last five years within 15 days of the closing date.
