New Delhi: The Government of India has issued fresh orders for the appointment and replacement of Central Nodal Officers (CNOs) responsible for reviewing and monitoring Aspirational Agricultural Districts under the Prime Minister Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY).

The Office Memorandum, issued by the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on June 17, 2026, states that the changes have been made in continuation of earlier orders issued in October 2025 and subsequent amendments.

Strengthening Monitoring of Agricultural Districts

The Central Nodal Officers are tasked with overseeing the implementation and progress of Aspirational Agricultural Districts under PMDDKY, a flagship initiative aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and rural prosperity.

For operational coordination and clarifications, officers have been advised to contact Chinmay P Gotmare, Joint Secretary (Marketing & PMDDKY) in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.

The revised list of officers has been notified through an annexure accompanying the order.
