Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a leading warship building company based in Kolkata, has been awarded the prestigious 91st SKOCH Awards for their 'Unique Transfer & Loading of Fully Built 250T Goliath Crane'.

NEW DELHI- Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a leading warship building company based in Kolkata, has been awarded the prestigious 91st SKOCH Awards for their 'Unique Transfer & Loading of Fully Built 250T Goliath Crane'. The award ceremony was held virtually on May 4th, 2023 in New Delhi.
GRSE's project was selected amongst numerous entries at the SKOCH Awards, which recognizes excellence in socio-economic development. The Goliath crane, manufactured in South Korea, was transported by sea to GRSE in fully assembled condition, overcoming technical challenges and adverse weather conditions. The crane has a capacity of 250 tonnes and was commissioned on June 22, 2021.

GRSE has a strong track record of delivering over 100 warships to the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and other friendly foreign countries. This latest recognition affirms GRSE's position as a leader in the shipbuilding industry, committed to leveraging innovation and technology to drive growth and competitiveness.
