New Delhi: Union Petroleum MinisyerShri Hardeep Singh Puri today on August 6, joined the senior management of various oil & gas sector entities & officers of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India at the Annual Day Celebrations of Petronet LNG Limited, one of the fastest growing world-class Public Limited Company in the Indian energy sector.
While speaking at the annual celebration of Petronet LNG Limited he said, "It has set up India’s first LNG receiving & regasification terminals at Dahej, Gujarat with present capacity of 17.5 MMTPA & in Kochi, Kerala with a capacity of 5 MMTPA."
The company is also exploring suitable opportunities within & outside India to expand its business presence, he further added.
Petronet LNG Ltd is a joint venture company promoted by 4 companies including Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).
