Maharatna Gas unit, GAIL Board approves to operate subsidiary at GIFT City, Gujarat

Public Sector Unit, under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, GAIL India Ltd has announced that its board members have granted in-principle approval to form a wholly-owned subsidiary that would operate as a Finance Company in IFSC, Gift City in Gujarat.

According to the exchange filing made, it is hereby informed that the GAIL Board at its meeting held on 20.12.2024 has accorded approval for formation of a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of GAIL to operate as a Finance Company in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (Gift City), Gujarat for undertaking Ship Leasing activities and/or Global/Regional Corporate Treasury Centres activities or any other permissible activities under the regulatory frameworks.
