
Sambalpur: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) disbursed more than Rs. 11 Crore as compensation against structures to 17 Land Oustees of Tumulia village in Sundergarh District of Odisha. These beneficiaries of Tumulia village coming under the Mahalaxmi and Basundhara Area are given compensation against land acquired by MCL as per the Rehabilitation & Resettlement policy of the company. The cheques were handed over by the Additional District Magistrate(R&R) of Sundergarh District in the presence of Area General Manager of Basundhara and Mahalaxmi Areas of MCL.
