NHPC Partners with GGGI to Drive Clean Energy Innovations
On November 28, 2024, NHPC Limited signed an MoU with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), an international organization dedicated to supporting and promoting sustainable economic growth at NHPC’s Faridabad Office.
The agreement was signed by Shri V.R. Shrivastava (ED-REGH, NHPC) and Shri Soumya Prasad Garnaik (Country Head, GGGI) in the presence of Shri Uttam Lal, Director, (Personnel), NHPC, Dr. D.K. Khare, Advisor, GGGI and other senior officials from both organizations.
This collaboration focuses on advancing clean energy solutions, including agrivoltaics, green hydrogen, and sustainable financing—all aimed at mitigating climate change under NHPC’s R&D initiatives. Together, NHPC and GGGI are stepping forward to create a greener, more sustainable future.
