Rail Vikas Nigam Limited signed MoU with TATWEER Middle East and Africa LLC
The order is worth around Rs. 202.87 crore and is expected to be completed in 18 months.

RVNL has signed an MoU with M/s TATWEER Middle East and Africa LLC (TATWEER) for using RVNL’s expertise in the Railway Sector, developing joint capabilities in the design and execution of various Rail based work in the MENA Region and European Countries, and also for Supply, Design, Implementation, and Commissioning of Smart City, Digital Transformation and Professional Engineering Services.
Additionally, the rail infra major in an exchange filing has informed that it has been declared the lowest bidder for an order from South Eastern Railway.
The order is for the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 132-kilovolt traction substation, sectioning posts (SPs), and sub-sectioning posts (SSPs) in a 2×25 kilovolt system on the Kharagpur – Bhadrak section of the Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway.

The order is worth around Rs. 202.87 crore and is expected to be completed in 18 months. The railway stock has been performing exceptionally well over the past few days. The stock reached a new all-time high of Rs. 619. However, after the initial surge, the stock moderated and closed in the red, ending its four-session gaining streak.
