Rail Vikas Nigam partners with Patel Engineering for hydro and infrastructure projects

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), a Navratna public sector enterprise, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Patel Engineering Ltd to jointly pursue hydro and infrastructure projects both domestically and internationally.
Patel Engineering outlined in an exchange filing that the MoU establishes a framework for collaboration, leveraging the strengths and capabilities of both companies in undertaking hydro and other infrastructure ventures.

The agreement enables RVNL and Patel Engineering to work together on selected hydro and infrastructure projects as opportunities arise. This partnership aims to integrate Patel Engineering’s extensive infrastructure experience with RVNL’s expertise in rail and transport infrastructure.
The MoU provides flexibility for the parties to participate in tenders and project bids either jointly or independently. When collaborating on bids, both companies will coordinate on bidding strategies, structures, and terms to ensure a cohesive approach.
This also emphasises the creation of a collaborative framework to enhance synergies in the hydro and infrastructure sectors, reflecting a mutual commitment to high standards of project delivery and excellence.
