RBI approves Neeraj Gambhir appoitment as Axis Bank's Executive Director

 

New Delhi: Private lender, Axis Bank informs that the Board of Directors of the Bank has approved the appointment of Neeraj Gambhir, as a Whole-time Director, designated as “Executive Director” of the Bank (including his terms and conditions and remuneration), effective from (i) August 4, 2025; or (ii) the date of approval of his appointment by Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”), whichever is later.

In this regard, RBI letter dated October 20, 2025, has approved the appointment of Neeraj Gambhir as “Executive Director” of the Bank for a period of three years, w.e.f. October 20, 2025
