Reserve Bank of India appoints three Executive Directors
New Delhi: The Reserve Bank of India has appointed Shri R. Subramanian, Shri Rohit Jain, and Shri R.S. Ratho as Executive Directors (ED) with effect from December 11, 2020.
Prior to being promoted as ED, Shri R. Subramanian, Shri Rohit Jain, and Shri R.S. Ratho were Chief General Manager-in-Charge, Enforcement Department, Department of Supervision, and Financial Markets Operations Department respectively.
As Executive Director, Shri Subramanian will look after the Foreign Exchange Department, Financial Markets Regulation Department, Internal Debt Management, and International Department.
As Executive Director, Shri Jain will look after the Department of Supervision (Risk, Analytics, and Vulnerability Assessment).
As Executive Director, Shri Ratho will look after the Financial Markets Operations Department, Department of External Investments and Operations, Legal Department and Secretary’s Department.
