RVNL bags order from South Eastern Railways for power development
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerges as the Lowest Bidder from SER HQ-ELECTRICAL/SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY.
New Delhi: The company filings stated that under regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, it is hereby informed that Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerges as the Lowest Bidder from SER HQ-ELECTRICAL/SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY for the Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning for upgradation of Electric traction system from 1 x 25 KV to 2 x 25 KV traction system for Rajkharsawan -Nayagarh- Bolani section of Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway to meet 3000 MT loading target.
The period recommended to complete the contract is 18 months and the cost of the project is accounted for around Rs 167 crore.

Meanwhile, the market capitalization of the company is standing at Rs 51.19 thousand crores, respectively.
