SJVN Team participated in 25th Inter CPSU Table Tennis tournament

SJVN emerged as the 2nd Runner up in the Women’s Individual & Team event.

New Delhi: Team SJVN participated in the 25th Inter CPSU Table Tennis tournament, under the aegis of Power Sports Control Board, Ministry of Power, organized by POWERGRID at L.B. Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad from 26th to 28th August 2022. The other participants, apart from the host team, were from MoP, BBMB, CEA, NEEPCO, PFC, POSOCO, DVC & THDC.

SJVN was represented by: Dr.Vandna Bagharia, Ms. Hera Vati, Ms. Navkiran Katoch, Ms. Gouri Sood and Ms. Kavita Kumari in the Women’s event, and Sh. Aashish Kaushal, Sh. Bhanu Sharma, Sh. Kuldeep Garg, Sh, Pushkar Verma, Sh. Pankaj Anand, Sh. Shiraz Swan and Sh. Milap Chand in the Men’s event and Sh. Saurabh Sharma as Team Coach

SJVN emerged as the 2nd Runner up in the Women’s Individual & Team event. SJVNite Hera Vati was 2nd Runner up in the individual category while SJVNites Vandana Bagharia and Hera Vati bagged same position in the double’s category.

The Men’s Team put up an impressive show but missed a podium finish in an extremely hard-fought contest. The teams presented the Team championship trophy to Director Personnel and apprised her of their experience.

Director (Personnel), congratulated the teams and appreciated all players for their participation.
