Suman Sharma, SECI Chairman appointed as UPSC Member
Sharma is a 1990 Batch Indian Revenue Services Officer, and currently working as the Chairman and Managing Director of SECI, prior to this assignment she worked as an Additional DG of DGFT.
New Delhi: Ms. Suman Sharma, the chairman of Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited has been appointed as the Member of Union Public Service Commission by the government of India.
Sharma is a 1990 Batch Indian Revenue Services Officer, and currently working as the Chairman and Managing Director of SECI, prior to this assignment she worked as an Additional DG of DGFT.

Worked with the Central Board of Direct Taxes and gained experience in international tax while working in the Directorate of International Taxation and Transfer Pricing. Before joining SECI, she worked in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, as the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, North Zone.
