The IJmuiden steelworks of Tata Steel in Nederland has ranked 3rd in the 2022 CO2 intensity benchmark rankings published by the worldsteel, the international trade body for the iron and steel industry.

New Delhi: The IJmuiden steelworks of Tata Steel in Nederland has ranked 3rd in the 2022 CO2 intensity benchmark rankings published by the worldsteel, the international trade body for the iron and steel industry.
Since 2013, the site has consistently ranked amongst the top 10%, and this is its third consecutive year finishing in the top 5. The ranking is an acknowledgement of the significance that Tata Steel attaches to process optimization.
This accomplishment also brings Tata Steel closer to its larger objective of becoming carbon neutral by 2045.
