WIPS, WCL gets Title of 'Best Enterprise'
New Delhi: Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS), WCL was awarded the 'Sarvotkrisht Udyam Award' in the category of Mini Ratna Companies for outstanding work during the year 2023. The award was given on 12.02.2024 at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Management Academy, Bengaluru. Presented by Her Majesty Smt. Pramoda Devi Wadiyar of Mysore, during the 34th National Conference of WIPS, on behalf of WCL President (West Region) Mrs. Anupama Temurnikar, Coordinator Mrs. Sujatha Sarmukaddam, Co-Coordinator Mrs. Medha Hardas, Treasurer Mrs. Jyoti Verma, Joint Secretary Ms. Pooja Shahdani, Treasurer Ms. Varsha Pudke and members.

Dwivedi and informed him about his work. Shri J. P. Dwivedi congratulated WIPS WCL and appreciated the positive work done by them throughout the year. He asked all the members of WIPS to continue their excellent work.
In the same national conference, Ms. Harsha Bhede, working as a shovel operator in WCL's Umred area, was honored with the 'Best Employee Award'.

These include breast cancer awareness camp for women, blood donation camp, yoga camp, nutritional awareness, uterine cancer screening camp, training for women workers. Along with these works, many other works like tree plantation, active contribution in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, distribution of material among school children, programs on the occasion of Women's Day, Nurses Day, Mother's Day are also included.
Everyone is happy with VIPS WCL receiving the 'Best Enterprise Award' for the excellent activities done throughout the year.
