Hindustan Power secures 425 MW Solar Project from UPPCL
UPPCL will purchase electricity from this solar project for a set price over a 25-year period in accordance with the power purchase agreement (PPA).
Hindustan Power announced that Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) had awarded it a 425 MW solar project. After a competitive e-reverse auction, UPPCL issued the Letter of Award (LoA), according to a statement from Hindustan Power.
UPPCL will purchase electricity from this solar project for a set price over a 25-year period in accordance with the power purchase agreement (PPA). Within 24 months of the PPA being signed, the project is anticipated to be commissioned. No additional information about the order was supplied by the company.
Ratul Puri, Chairman of Hindustan Power, stated, "The Company will assist to meet Uttar Pradesh's increasing demand for sustainable energy solutions with this win."
