Railway Board Deputes Multiple IRTS Officers to CONCOR for Senior Roles
New Delhi, March 19, 2026: The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of several Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officers to Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) for key leadership positions. The deputations are for a period of three years or until further orders, on usual terms of parent pay plus deputation allowance, subject to government approval for exemption from immediate absorption rules.
Key Deputations Include:

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, IRTS – Dy. CVO/T/HQ, North Western Railway, selected as SGM (C&O) at Ludhiana.

Shri Anand Kumar, IRTS – ADRM/Jabalpur, West Central Railway, selected as GGM (C&O) at Delhi.

Shri Prashantkumar Gajbhiye, IRTS – Sr. DOM/Bhusawal, Central Railway, selected as GM (C&O) at Delhi.

Shri Vipul Vilasrao Suskar, IRTS – CPRO, South East Central Railway, selected as GM (C&O) at Kolkata.

Shri Rama Kant Singh, IRTS – ED/Coaching-II, Railway Board, selected as GGM (C&O) at Delhi, effective on or after July 18, 2026.
These appointments aim to strengthen operational and corporate governance expertise at CONCOR, ensuring continuity in the management of Container Corporation of India’s logistics and transport operations.
The officers will be relieved from their current roles upon commencement of their deputation and will continue under the usual rules for deputation as per DoP&T O.M. No. 2/6/2023-Estt. (Pay-II) dated March 22, 2023.
