Mumbai: JSW Energy Limited has announced the re-appointment of Mr. Munesh Khanna as a Non-Executive, Independent Director of the company for a second consecutive term of five years, effective March 26, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
Profile & Expertise
Mr. Khanna, a Chartered Accountant and seasoned investment banker with over three decades of experience, brings deep expertise in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic advisory. He formerly served as the Country Head of NM Rothschild & Sons and is currently a Director at Backbay Advisors Private Limited.
His extensive advisory experience spans diverse sectors and ownership structures, and he is recognized for his strategic insight, financial acumen, and wide professional network.
Governance & Compliance
The re-appointment aligns with SEBI’s corporate governance norms and the company’s commitment to maintaining a board with strong independent oversight. Mr. Khanna also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several other reputed companies, contributing significant governance experience.
