KPI Green Energy Achieves Early Commissioning Milestone in Major 250 MW GUVNL Solar Project

Mumbai:  KPI Green Energy Limited (BSE: 542323, NSE: KPIGREEN), a prominent player in India's renewable energy sector, has announced the successful and early commissioning of the first phase of its significant 250 MW AC (350 MW DC) solar power project. This milestone underscores the company's execution capabilities in supporting India's clean energy ambitions.

 

Key Project Milestone Achieved Ahead of Schedule

The company has successfully commissioned the initial 24.2 MW AC (34.4 MW DC) capacity of its grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) project. This achievement is notably ahead of the overall project schedule, highlighting KPI Green Energy's efficient project management and execution prowess.

The full project was awarded by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) under its competitive bidding process (RFS No. GUVNL/500 MW/Solar (Phase-XXIV)) in March 2024. The total project, designed for a capacity of 250 MW AC, has a contractual completion timeline extending to October 2026.
