BCCL Driving Growth Across Mining & Coal Beneficiation

Dhanbad: In a leap forward in capacity expansion, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), is announcing key business updates. The updates reflect BCCL’s continued focus on capacity augmentation, operational efficiency, and strengthening its core coking coal business.

Major Capacity Expansion – Block-E (15 MTPA)

As part of BCCL’s long-term growth strategy, tendering of the 15 MTPA Block-E project is scheduled within the current financial year. This project will add significant production capacity to the company. Upon commissioning, the project is expected to enhance BCCL’s overall production by approximately 15 percent. This expansion will significantly strengthen the company’s coking coal portfolio and further consolidate its long-term supply position, particularly in meeting the rising demand from the domestic steel sector.

Operationalisation of Bhojudih Washery (2 MTPA)

In another major development, the 2 MTPA Bhojudih Washery has been successfully operationalised. The washery is expected to reach its peak capacity within the next two to three weeks. With this addition, BCCL’s washed coal output is set to increase, leading to improved realisations and enhanced value addition. The operationalisation of the washery will also support downstream steel sector demand by ensuring the availability of quality washed coking coal.

धनबाद: भारत कोकिंग कोल लिमिटेड (बीसीसीएल) ने क्षमता विस्तार की दिशा में अहम कदम उठाया है। इन में उत्पादन क्षमता विस्तार, मूल्यवर्धन तथा कोकिंग कोल क्षेत्र में कंपनी की दीर्घकालिक स्थिति को सुदृढ़ करने से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण पहलें शामिल हैं।

प्रमुख क्षमता विस्तार – ब्लॉक-E (15 एमटीपीए)

कंपनी के दीर्घकालिक विकास कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत 15 एमटीपीए क्षमता वाली ब्लॉक-E परियोजना के लिए टेंडर प्रक्रिया चालू वित्तीय वर्ष के भीतर निर्धारित की गई है। परियोजना के कमीशन होने के पश्चात बीसीसीएल के कुल उत्पादन में लगभग 15 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि होने की अपेक्षा है। इससे कंपनी का कोकिंग कोयला पोर्टफोलियो और अधिक मजबूत होगा तथा घरेलू इस्पात क्षेत्र की बढ़ती मांग को पूरा करने के लिए दीर्घकालिक आपूर्ति व्यवस्था को बल मिलेगा।

भोजूडीह वॉशरी का संचालन (2 एमटीपीए)

2 एमटीपीए क्षमता वाली भोजूडीह वॉशरी का सफलतापूर्वक संचालन प्रारंभ कर दिया गया है। यह वॉशरी आगामी दो से तीन सप्ताह के भीतर अपनी पूर्ण उत्पादन क्षमता पर पहुँचने की अपेक्षा है। इसके परिचालन से कंपनी के वॉश्ड कोयले के उत्पादन में वृद्धि होगी, बेहतर मूल्य प्राप्ति सुनिश्चित होगी तथा डाउनस्ट्रीम इस्पात क्षेत्र को गुणवत्तापूर्ण वॉश्ड कोकिंग कोयले की आपूर्ति में सहायता मिलेगी।
