BEML CMD Discusses Agility, Resilience & Strategic Transformation at India Turnaround Summit 2026

Bengaluru, 13 March 2026: At the India Revival & Resilience: India Turnaround Summit 2026, Shri Shantanu Roy, CMD of BEML Ltd, emphasized that transformation goes beyond growth—it is about evolving continuously to meet the demands of a dynamic industrial and strategic landscape.

During the panel discussion “Leading Through Change | Leadership Resilience, Crisis Decision-Making & Culture Transformation,” Shri Roy shared insights from BEML’s transformation journey. He noted that while the company’s previous structure of three broad divisions—Mining, Defence, and Rail—had been effective, current market demands require greater agility, sharper focus, and faster decision-making to seize emerging opportunities.

He underscored BEML’s strategic focus on strengthening core engineering capabilities while positioning the company for future growth in sectors like high-speed rail technologies, advanced metro systems, defence mobility platforms, and next-generation mining solutions, including automation.
