Bangalore – BEML Limited, a Schedule ‘A’ company under the Ministry of Defence, has announced a significant milestone in its Rail and Metro segment. The company has secured its first-ever international contract for the retrofit and reconditioning of a Mass Rapid Transport System in Malaysia.
The contract, valued at USD 1 million, approximately 8.758 crore was officially received by BEML on August 9, 2025. This achievement marks BEML's entry into the overseas market for its Rail and Metro offerings.
