BHEL bags work order from Adani Power Ltd worth around Rs 6500 crore
BHEL receive Rs 6500 crore order from Adani Power for six 800 MW thermal units. Shares end marginally lower despite recent gains.
Maharatna PSU, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Adani Power Ltd. (APL) for six thermal units of 800 MW.
The Order consists for Supply of equipment (Steam Turbine Generator along with auxiliaries) and Supervision of Erection & Commissioning for Six (6) Thermal Units of 800 MW.

The cost of the project is around 6500 Crore. excl. GST.
Shares of BHEL were closed at Rs 263.45, down by 0.38% at BSE. The stock has surged over by 3.99% in over last five days of trading sessions. Meanwhile, the shares of Adani Power Ltd were closed higher by 1.06% at Rs 584.25 at BSE.
