BHEL Haridwar Issues Tender for Supply of Sealing Compound and Igniters

New Delhi: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, has issued a bid on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform for the supply of 35,000 kg of Sealing Compound (Spec FF05046 Rev 01) and 1,200 Igniters. The tender, published on 6 December 2025, falls under Bid Number GEM/2025/B/6965805.
The bid submission closes on 16 December 2025 at 14:00, with opening scheduled the same day at 14:30. The bid is a Two-Packet system and remains valid for 60 days from the closing date. No EMD or ePBG is required.
The procurement follows the Make in India (MII) policy, permitting participation only from Class-1 and Class-2 local suppliers, with a required minimum 50% and 20% local content, respectively. Purchase preference also applies to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) as per existing policy guidelines.
Supplies will be delivered within 450 days to CFFP, BHEL Haridwar (249403). A Material Test Certificate must accompany all deliveries, with final acceptance based on BHEL laboratory results. A one-year warranty from the date of acceptance is mandatory.
Technical specifications, PQC requirements, and additional scope documents are provided with the bid, and bidders must submit signed acceptance of all attached documents. The bid is enabled for Reverse Auction.
