New Delhi: Dr. Nalin Shinghal, CMD, BHEL inaugurated a state-of-the-art 225 KLD (Kilolitres per day) Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at its Solar Business Division (SBD) in Bengaluru. Mr Pankaj Gupta, Executive Director, SBD and a cross-section of employees of the unit were present on the occasion.

A testament to BHEL's commitment to eco-friendly operations, this advanced facility will ensure efficient treatment of sewage, reducing environmental impact and contributing to the protection of local ecosystems.

Dr. Shinghal also declared SBD as a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) compliant unit. This accomplishment reiterates BHEL's unwavering commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices and reinforces its position as an industry leader in environmental stewardship.
