BIS Recommends CMPDI (HQ) for ISO 9001:2015 Recertification After Successful 2026 Audit
New Delhi: Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) Headquarters has been recommended for continuation of its IS/ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification following a successful re-certification audit conducted on February 12–13, 2026.
The audit was carried out by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) at CMPDI’s Ranchi headquarters. The recommendation came after a comprehensive assessment confirming continued compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and the effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System across the organization.
The audit team reviewed key operational processes, documentation standards, and quality benchmarks to ensure alignment with internationally recognized QMS practices. The successful outcome underscores CMPDI’s commitment to structured quality control, operational excellence, and continual improvement.
The valedictory ceremony was attended by Shankar Nagachari, Director (T/CRD), Ajay Kumar, Director (T/P&D), along with other senior officials of the organization.
The recertification recommendation reinforces CMPDI’s dedication to maintaining high-quality standards in consultancy, mine planning, and technical services within the coal and mining sector.
