While Successfully monetising the 2 MTPA Dugda Coal Washery situated in Bokaro, Jharkhand, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a CIL subsidiary, has set a historic record. This first-ever monetisation of a coal washery in India represents a turning point in coal sector reforms, therefore supporting India's dedication to improving efficiency, asset optimisation, and energy security.

The monetisation of the Dugda Coal Washery is projected to have a major influence on the Indian energy market. This project will help to increase domestic coal use efficiency using better coal washing capacity and upgraded beneficiation procedures.
