Coal India Chairman Mr. P.M. Prasad visited WCL
CIL Chairman P.M. Prasad chaired a review meeting at WCL Nagpur on 12.10.25, commending performance and urging tech use, safety, and productivity improvements for FY 2025-26.
Nagpur, Maharashtra: Chairman of Coal India Limited, Mr. P.M. Prasad, held a review meeting at WCL headquarters on 12.10.2025, covering issues related to production, productivity, environmental protection, CSR, and future plans.
During the review meeting, he commended the work culture and performance of Team WCL and expressed expectations for improved results in the current financial year. He emphasized the use of new technology, safety in mining operations, and proper planning. He obtained detailed information on the coal transportation situation and offered suggestions for improvement.

Dwivedi, provided detailed information on the achievements and plans for the year 2025-26. He expressed confidence that WCL will achieve its coal production target this financial year as well.
Director (Finance) Shri Bikram Ghosh, Director (Human Resources) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre, Regional General Managers and Heads of Departments of Headquarters were prominently present in the meeting.
