New Delhi: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has handed over a profit share of ₹5.94 crore for FY 2024–25 from its joint venture CSL–Kolkata Ship Repair Unit (CKSRU) to Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (SMPK).

The profit share was formally presented by Shri Madhu S. Nair, Chairman & Managing Director, CSL, to Shri Rathendra Raman, IRTS, Chairperson, SMPK, during a ceremony held in Kochi.

CKSRU, a strategic joint initiative between CSL and SMPK, reflects the growing collaboration between two major institutions under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, aimed at strengthening ship repair infrastructure along India’s eastern coast. The partnership supports the national maritime vision outlined in Maritime India Vision 2030 (MIV 2030).

Both CSL and SMPK reiterated their commitment to further developing the ship repair ecosystem in Kolkata, enhancing operational capacity and supporting India’s maritime growth ambitions.
