New Delhi: Employees of Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) at its Panchkula Unit have contributed ₹1.10 lakh to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to supporting the welfare of ex-servicemen and their families.

The donation was formally handed over by Ms. Deepa Bajpai, General Manager of BEL Panchkula, who presented a cheque of ₹1,10,400 to the Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula.

Contribution Made in Presence of Sainik Welfare Officials

The cheque handover took place in the presence of Wing Commander (Retd.) Sanjay K. Rai, Welfare Officer of the Sainik Welfare Board, highlighting the collaborative effort to support members of the armed forces community.

Officials noted that contributions to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund play an important role in supporting the rehabilitation, financial assistance, and welfare initiatives for ex-servicemen, war widows, and their dependents.
