Railway Board Issues Vacancy Notices for GM (S&T) and GM (Electrical) Posts in Haryana Rail Infrastructure

The Ministry of Railways has issued two vacancy notices inviting applications from eligible railway officers for deputation posts in the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HRIDC).
The positions are for General Manager (Signal & Telecommunication) and General Manager (Electrical), with one post available in each category. Both roles will be based in Gurugram.
Vacancy Notice Issued by Railway Board
The Railway Board released Vacancy Notice No. 12/2026 and Vacancy Notice No. 13/2026 on March 16, 2026, inviting volunteers from Indian Railways for the deputation posts.
Interested officers are required to submit their applications through proper channels along with vigilance clearance, disciplinary clearance, and confidential reports.
Applications can also be sent via email to the Railway Board, and the last date for submission is April 10, 2026.
GM (S&T) Position Details
The General Manager (Signal & Telecommunication) post requires officers from the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) with extensive experience in the construction and implementation of railway infrastructure projects.
Eligible candidates must have:

Minimum 17 years of Group-A service

Experience in Signal & Telecommunication work related to new railway lines, gauge conversion, doubling projects, or metro rail projects

Age not exceeding 55 years
The deputation tenure for this position will be three years under normal deputation terms.
GM (Electrical) Position Requirements
For the General Manager (Electrical) role, officers from the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) are eligible to apply.
The key eligibility requirements include:

Minimum 17 years of Group-A service

At least five years of experience in Electrical Construction Organisation (OHE) or Railway Electrification projects

Age limit of 55 years
The position will also be filled on a three-year deputation basis.
Role of HRIDC in Rail Infrastructure Development
HRIDC is a joint venture between the Government of Haryana and the Ministry of Railways, created to strengthen railway infrastructure and expand connectivity across the state.

Application Process
Eligible and interested officers must submit their applications in the prescribed format along with supporting documents to the Managing Director, HRIDC, Chandigarh. A scanned copy of the application may also be sent to career@hridc.co.in.
The Railway Board has directed all railway zones, production units, and training institutes to circulate the vacancy notices and encourage eligible officers, including those from SC/ST categories, to apply for the posts.
