GMDC Informs Stock Exchanges of Probable Data Breach Incident
Mumbai: Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Limited (GMDC) has informed the stock exchanges about a probable data breach incident.
The company received an intimation from CERT-In indicating a possible data breach related to its website (www.gmdcltd.com).
Upon receiving the advisory, GMDC immediately activated its verification process and cyber security incident response mechanism. Internal and external cyber security experts have been engaged to assess the nature, scope and impact of the probable incident.
The company has clarified that its core operations and systems remained fully functional throughout and have not been affected.
The disclosure has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
