Amid circulating reports suggesting an LPG shortage in Delhi, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has clarified that the information is misleading and does not reflect the actual supply situation. The company has reassured customers that LPG availability across the region remains stable, adequate, and fully aligned with demand.

Between 1 April and 26 April, HPCL supplied more than 4,83,561 domestic (14.2 kg) LPG cylinders, ensuring uninterrupted cooking fuel support for households. Additionally, 18,419 commercial (19 kg) cylinders were delivered to meet the needs of businesses and establishments, while 13,475 (5 kg FTL) cylinders were supplied to cater to on-the-go and flexible usage requirements.

These figures demonstrate the robustness of HPCL’s supply chain and its continued commitment to maintaining seamless LPG distribution. Customers are advised not to be influenced by rumours and to continue normal consumption patterns without concern.
