MECL Begins REE and Copper Exploration Drilling in Rajasthan
Jaipur, September 7, 2026: Mineral Exploration & Consultancy Limited (MECL) has commenced exploratory drilling for Rare Earth Elements (REE) and copper at the Hirnoda Block in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
The drilling began on September 7, 2026, under the G-3 stage of mineral exploration. The project is being executed under the administrative control of the Mundi Project.
The exploration is part of MECL’s ongoing mineral exploration programme under the National Mineral Exploration Trust (NMEDT) framework.
MECL said the initiative is aimed at supporting exploration of critical and strategic mineral resources as part of its mineral exploration activities.
